Lauren Malaxos is a Completion Engineer working on the delivery of 24 deepwater wells for the Sangomar Project, offshore Senegal, West Africa. With over 7 years experience in the field, her current role involves engineering the execution and managing all elements of reservoir drilling and completion fluids in-country.
With her involvement in project from early-stage fluid design through to offshore execution, Lauren has a refined understanding of the complexities and challenges that accompany use of a water-based fluid system in a deepwater, direct matrix-injection application. She has worked to capture and integrate lessons learned from the project to maximise injection performance and help upcoming projects to navigate similar challenges.
